New DVD title ‘Anxiety Disorders’ released

We are pleased to announce the release of a new title in the ‘Speaking From Experience’ DVD series.

Anxiety disorders affect one in ten of us every year. They include Panic Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and a range of other conditions.

What they have in common is persistent, excessive worry which is unjustified, and causes great distress to those affected and people who care about them.
With treatment, the symptoms can be successfully managed and even eliminated, so that those affected can get on with their lives again.
 
In this ‘Speaking From Experience’ DVD we hear from eight people (patients and carers) who discuss the lead-up to diagnosis, symptoms, lifestyle issues and management strategies. It is a valuable resource for patients, carers, students and health professionals.
