Early fears

A stroke is a brain attack, which can affect thinking, movement, speech and/or senses, and is caused by blockage or rupture of a blood vessel within or surrounding the brain. When a brain attack occurs, it kills brain cells in the immediate area.

The aftermath of stroke can be very stressful for someone having to adjust to sudden changes in their life, and for the shocked and bewildered families. These 'Speaking From Experience' clips offer first hand accounts from those who are dealing with these issues.
