Diagnosis
In this MND/ALS video, participants discuss the events and emotions around the time of diagnosis. They recaall the symptoms and early signs they experienced, such as cramps, falling over, and general muscle wasting.They discuss the events that lead them to seek a medical diagnosis.
There is considerable variability between patients in respect of initial symptoms, rate and pattern of progression, and survival time after diagnosis. It is an uncommon, but by no means rare disorder.
